APL in partnership with State Pork Organisations are coming out in early 2025 to listen to producers and industry members on pork and pork production.
The forums will include the below topics for discussion:
- Strategic Plan 2025-2030 – An opportunity to prioritise how your levies are spent,
- APIQ Major Review standards changes – A critical opportunity to ensure APIQ continues to meet your needs
- APL and APRIL Research updates – An opportunity to get up to date on key pork research projects
- Small group producer workshops – Environmental management and employment/workforce challenges

SA Pig Industry Day
Pork SA will hold its Annual Pig Industry Day on Friday 22nd August 2025 - venue TBC.
The Industry Day is supported by the SA Pig Industry Fund, Industry Partners and APL and will be a collaborative effort. The event will follow the same format as the successful 2025 event.
The day will commence at noon with lunch available in the trade display area. The seminar program will run from 1pm – 4pm, with a half hour tea break with industry partners. The Pork SA AGM will be held from 4pm. There will be a further opportunity to network with industry partners until 6pm with drinks and finger food available.
